We are launching our Makaton friendly strategy here at Trewirgie. As part of this, children will see Makaton signs and symbols around the school.
Each week, there will be a sign of the week for children to learn and use.
These signs will be sent home via the newsletter each week too.
Sign of the week: Good
We have also started a sing and sign choir which runs on a Monday after school. Each week, the children will learn songs using Makaton to support their language development. These songs will be performed to the school at the end of the half term. If you would like your child to join our sing and sign choir, please contact the office.
