SEN Teaching Assistant - 29.55 hours per week (term time only)

The governors of Trewirgie Infants School are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.  This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large three form entry, well-resourced infant school with fantastic children.

Applicants must have

Experience of working with children with SEND

Maths & English GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent

The ability to build positive relationships with children and families

The ability to work dynamically as a team member and 1:1 with pupils

Eager to take a full and active part in all aspects of school life

Passionate about making learning experiences exciting, memorable and fun

The role will entail

Working with a range of pupils with additional needs across the working day in both the

classroom and Nurture settings

KS1 Teaching Assistant – 18.75 hours per week

(Term time + 5 INSET days)

Applicants must have

Level 3 or equivalent in childcare/education

Maths & English GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Must be committed to working with all members of the school community, particularly with parents

Eager to take a full and active part in all aspects of school life

Passionate about making learning experiences exciting, memorable and fun
